Join a leading water sector delivery team and play a key role in shaping innovative electrical engineering solutions!
Our Client has a requirement for a Project Engineer – Electrical, who will be required to work on a Outside IR35 contract or permanent basis in Burham (with hybrid working available).
Role Purpose:

Support the Project Manager in coordinating cost-effective plant design and procurement strategies.
-
Ensure design, procurement, and construction activities are aligned with the Contract Programme.

Provide cost data for forecasts and variation evaluations.
-
Contribute to safe, efficient, and innovative engineering solutions for water and wastewater treatment projects.
Job Role Responsibilities:
-
Ensure project costs remain within tender/varied allowances.
-
Submit applications for payment on or before due dates.
-
Complete contract reviews and monthly forecasts in line with requirements.
-
Maintain strong client relationships at all levels.
-
Support project management strategies and contract filing systems.
-
Assist with the development and monitoring of the contract programme, including progress reports.

Provide timely data for O&M manual production.

Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site management on design and procurement issues.

Monitor subcontractor performance and support construction completion documentation.
-
Engage in professional development activities and stay updated on industry innovations.

Promote a positive, professional image of MWH Treatment internally and externally.

Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company standards.

Collaborate with design teams to progress quality and safe-to-construct solutions.

Evaluate innovative solutions, contribute to risk and opportunity schedules, and support the capitalisation process.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
Essential:
-
Strong basic engineering background.

Working knowledge of NEC contracts.
-
Experience in supply chain expedition.
-
Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.
-
Understanding of CDM regulations and Health & Safety requirements.
Desirable:

Relevant professional qualification.
